Beginning in March, 2004, Millennia provided us with a communication solution that allowed us to connect multiple sites seamlessly and assisted us in installing the system by providing overhead paging, end user training, and continued support to help us continue to improve our utilization of the system.

Initially we worked with Jim Kastelz and now with Blaine Blackburn. We are impressed with their desire to ensure our satisfaction rather than just trying to sell us a phone system. Besides ensuring that the equipment worked satisfactorily, they went beyond to make sure that our users were educated on the features available through the new system. Over 4 years ago, Millennia Telecom assisted our company in designing and integrating the ShoreTel VOIP system into our business of 17 offices across the United States and Canada. Our primary sales contact has been Pete Blackburn for the entire time and our technical contact has been Blaine Blackburn.

Millennia has always been attentive to our needs as a customer. Our initial project requirement was a solution that our IT staff could implement themselves in order to help us reduce our implementation and management costs. Millennia and ShoreTel allowed us that flexibility. Their availability and resourcefulness in finding answers to our questions has always been at a high level.

The ShoreTel system and Millennia technical and customer services meet our needs fully. As we are constantly adding new offices, our implementation is ongoing. By designing and installing an effective communications system, Millennia Telecom has quite literally brought our company back together. We have an installation of approximately 250 phones, with four PRI circuits, spread out over four locations. And while our employees and physicians may be separated geographically, our phone communications are as if we're in the same building.

Our previous system was a very large system that worked well, but was very complex, and required us to call a technician every time we wanted to move a phone or make a change -- resulting in a service charge. When we decided it was time to change systems, we looked at several other "name brand" alternatives from various vendors. All of them required complicated (and expensive) systems to tie our multiple locations together. Then we discovered ShoreTel’s fairly new (at the time) Voice over IP phone system offered by Millennia Telecom. This "natural" solution allowed us to simply use the existing data network that we had in place to support our computer network as the communication conduit for our phone system.

Our system was installed in November of 2002. Pete Blackburn was our principal point of contact. I found Millennia's "can do" attitude, and the professionalism in the sales, installation, and training to be refreshing. They were knowledgeable in the product, and their confidence reflected that, which helped ease my concerns.

The "bottom line" for me is, the product works as advertized. There's nothing that they said it would do, that it hasn't been able to do. It has actually exceeded my expectations. Our system (on average) handles (with ease), more than 3000 inbound and outbound calls per day -- five days a week. The product has always been easy (and fun) to work with. I’m able to quickly and conveniently make any necessary changes from anywhere I have access to a computer.

The system has been a workhorse. It hit the ground running the day we installed it, and has continued to perform reliably day in and day out, even with all the expansion we have done – expansions that would have required expensive “fork-lift upgrades” with the other systems I was considering. Recently, when another practice joined our organization, we were able to integrate their 40 phones and a dozen or so phone lines with our ShoreTel system and incorporate that entire facility in just a few hours on a Friday evening. The following Monday morning, the communications between facilities was operating as if it had been a part of us from the beginning.

Every opportunity that I get to tell someone in my position that's looking for a reliable, and "safe" investment in a communications system, I tell them about our ShoreTel system, and who is behind its "success story". As our organization continues to grow, I know this system, and Millennia will be able to meet our communication needs. It's not often that someone can truly say "If I had to do it all over again, I'd make the same decision" – which I can say with absolute confidence!
